Welcome to the Hospitality and Tourism Training Centre!
The Hospitality and Tourism Training Centre (HTTC) has been open in its present location since 2004. The Hospitality and Tourism Training Centre (HTTC) is a facility proud to be operating as a recognized tertiary organization by NZQA offering accredited programs relating to the various careers within the public and private sector.
We also promote and support the philosophy of “Achieving Excellence” by continuously offering a variety of training programs relating to the various fields within the hospitality and tourism industry.
HTTC can assist you greatly if your goal is to go forward in this industry, with commitment and passion in pursuing your career ambitions.
The Hospitality and Tourism industry is a ‘people industry’ and one of the keys to a successful career is excellent personal presentation.
Courses
The Hospitality and Tourism Training Centre offer qualifications in the Food and Beverage, Cookery, Food Safety and also Customer Services associated with the Hospitality and Tourism industries. We also offer short courses designed to build skills in profession as well as night courses designed to give you a New Zealand recognised qualification. We also offer courses specifically aimed at students from the outer islands and courses for college students.
There are a number of courses that are listed below:
· Food Preparation & Culinary Art Level 3 and Level 4 London City & Guilds Qualification (Full Time)
· Food & Beverage Level 3 and Level 4 London City & Guilds Qualification (Full Time)
· Travel & Tourism Introductory Skill Level 2 (Full Time)
· Travel & Tourism Level 3 (Full Time)
Block Courses:
· Bar & Service ( 1 Week)
· Restaurant Practices (1 Week)
· Front Office & Reception (1 Week)
· Customer Care Skills (1 Week)
· Housekeeping Service (1 Week)
