Plumbing and Drain-laying
A night course programme is available for people working in the drain-laying industry. Three hours per week starting from 5.00pm. This programme is a requirement for everyone working in the drain-laying industry. You will obtain a Trade Certificate and accreditation to install drains and septic tank systems in the Cook Islands as well as verification for new Zealand certification. Prerequisites level 1english and mathematics and trade experience.
Electrical and Telecommunications
Electrical Programmes
A night class programme is available for people working in the electrical industry wanting to gain a recognized qualification. In the following Electrical Service Technician Cook Islands wiring Certificate New Zealand Electrical registration.
Electrical Service Technician short course programme
Two eleven week block courses make up the EST programme. The courses will cover all theory and practical skills required to achieve of the EST certificate. The first block course starts in April and runs until July and the second block course starts in September and goes through to December.
Telecommunications programmes
National Certificate in Telecommunications
A night class programme is available for people working in the telecommunications industry wanting to gain a recognized qualification. From this certificate you can specialize in a number of telecommunications areas.

· National certificate Automotive Entry level 2
· National certificate in Automotive Engineering
